Cavern (Alpha)
"Cavern "is a short side scrolling platform . You play as Dew (the alien) which crashed underground and somehow ended in a cave full of dangers. Venture deeper into the cavern in order to find an exit and escape!
While the game is mostly complete I still consider it under development so changes are to be expected (maybe even more levels, who knows?). As of now though I would like to hear YOUR opinion of the game. This is my first game and so if there is something you think I should address or have any suggestion you think would make the overall game/experience better, feel free to drop it in the comments . I will be coming back for a faster time (both 100% and any%), and maybe a deathless run too
Just played through you the game again 320/320 coins 103 deaths 23:03 time
I just noticed the jump particles, maybe try adding some walk ones too. :-)
Nice mate that's a pretty fast run! I remember wanting to add walking particles but had a problem with it at the time for some reason. Currently sadly I don't have much time to work on the game so the update will probably take some time. Hope you still had fun playing it :D

Wow! Thank you so much for the comments they are extremely helpful! I can't imagine how much time it took you to play and make these detailed comments (and even edit the pictures for the examples). I will try to fix any of the issues you mentioned and improve the pacing of the levels to be more gradual. If there is a specific challenge or mechanic that you think are too hard for the time they are introduced (or just too hard in general) please let me know.

Fun game! Still haven’t finished it, but good so far! A few things I would change would be in the area with the ladders and the spikes: I would turn the spikes to the right into just ground to make it so when the player falls, they don’t have to redo that whole area: Or you can move the flag up above the two ladders, and before the spikes:
